Most successful entrepreneurs will tell you that an important aspect of starting any new business is to network with other business owners before, during and after.

Another benefit of business networking for entrepreneurs is that it allows you to tap into a synergistic business mastermind group, where business ideas are shared and new opportunities discussed and reviewed by other members.

There are many business networking opportunities out there. Two business networking clubs that you might want to try are:

Ali Lassen's Leads Club - This is a great business networking group. Ali Lassen's Leads Club uses a method of spaced, timed, repetition of information that maximizes the use of your time and resources to get solid business referrals week after week. Founded in 1978 by Ali Lassen, the Leads Club was the first and is still one of the most respected networking organizations in the world. Ali Lassen's Leads Club is open to business owners, professionals, sales people and managers seeking to expand their business referral base.

The meetings follow a formal, yet effective agenda. During weekly 75-minute meetings over breakfast or lunch, Members give a brief business presentation and exchange leads collected during the previous week. Toastmasters International - Toastmasters is an organization dedicated to promoting more effective communication, not just in business, but in all areas, such as public speaking. Toastmasters boasts over 10,500 clubs and more than 200,000 members in approximately 90 countries. At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. A typical Toastmasters club is made up of 20 to 30 people who meet once a week for about an hour. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings and offering constructive evaluation. It also offers invaluable business networking opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners.

The above are two very well-known and respected organizations that I have personally tried and am personally familiar with. You can find other types of business networking groups by going to a search engine like Google, Yahoo or MSN and typing "business networking clubs" in the search field.
